Though daiquiris have gotten a bad wrap as being the drink of choice of younger drinkers or the Applebee's crowd -- and admittedly, a banana daiquiri is our breakfast of choice when in the tropics -- the original daiquiri was not frozen or overly sweet. 3 parts Bacardi Superior Rum
1 part lime or lemon juice
1/2 part sugar
In a shaker with ice, combine ingredients.
Shake and pour into glass
